A charming collection of original Railway Series books by Rev. W. Awdry, beautifully illustrated by C. Reginald Dalby.
Dating from the 1950s, these vintage editions feature their wonderfully nostalgic cloth-bound covers in rich, muted colours, with classic locomotive illustrations and typography. They make lovely decorative pieces for a vintage nursery, children's bedroom or bookshelf, whether displayed individually or styled as a little collection.
Some examples in the collection are particularly early editions, including Henry the Green Engine (1951) and Toby the Tram Engine (1952).
Please note: These are vintage books and show signs of age and use, including some expected wear to the cloth covers and pages. Please see photographs for condition.
