A wonderfully characterful pair of vintage wooden duck bookends, featuring beautifully hand-painted mallard-style ducks in rich emerald green, burgundy, ochre and brown tones.

The ducks have fantastic folk-art detailing, with individually painted feather patterns and expressive little eyes, mounted on substantial dark wooden bases. Their slightly timeworn finish adds to their vintage charm and gives them that lovely collected-over-time feel.

Perfect for a nursery, children’s bedroom or playroom bookshelf, particularly styled alongside vintage nature books, field guides and other woodland or countryside treasures.
